I visited Gus’s garage to see about my 92 S-10’ engine swap. Gus was very informative, and patient with all my questions. Even though he was busy! He took his time to attend my concerns and costs questions. I will definitely be dealing with Gus and his crew to fix up my truck. Thank you Gus 🙇🙇🙇!

These guys really are the best crew I’ve had work on my truck to date. They’re reasonable, crafty, have good turnaround times and generally communicate quite well. Trust is something that cannot be discounted in this business, and they certainly have mine.

Gus and his team did a great job on my 72 Suburban. They completely fixed my transmission that had major issues from another transmission shop. If you need a shop to go to that's trustworthy and knows what they're doing, then go to Gus' Garage

Gus is a solid dude. Knows his stuff inside and out. Wouldn’t trust anyone else with older vehicles. Stand up guy, the whole crew is super nice and helpful. Known Gus for years and learned a lot when talking to him. Highly recommended. -“Billy”

I found a gem when I took my Jeep to these guys. After calling and scheduling an appointment, I took my vehicle in and they stuck to the schedule in getting it back to me. Not only that, but they went above and beyond in making sure everything was working correctly! A fantastic experience for sure! I usually perform all maintenance on my vehicles, but due to timing I had another Austin shop install a crate motor in Jan of 2017. After spending a year and a half working through warranty claims, I was still having issues. Finally, fed up with the other shop, I decided to take it to Gus to have his team diagnose and sort things out for me. They quickly diagnosed the ongoing oil leak as negligent assembly when aligning the timing cover and fixed the issue. They also discovered broken bolts on the motor mounts were causing vibrations and replaced them--now I can take my Jeep back on the trails with confidence. Thank you so much, Gus! If you have a vehicle in need of sorting out, I strongly recommend Gus and the guys. They know what they're doing and won't try to sell you on anything you don't need. Stop searching and give them a call!
